Position

Acting after your opponents on each postflop street — a lasting strategic advantage.

Position refers to where you act in the betting order. Being "in position" means you act last on every postflop street, so you see what your opponents do before you decide.

Position is one of the biggest edges in poker: it lets you control the size of the pot, bluff more effectively, and realize your hand's equity more often. Play more hands in position and tighten up out of position.
