Isolation Raise (Iso)
Raising to play a pot heads-up against one weak player, pricing everyone else out.
An isolation raise, or "iso," is a raise made to get heads-up with a specific weak player — usually a limper — by pricing everyone else out. The goal is to play a bigger pot, in position, against the one opponent you have a clear edge on.
